The Boy Who Has Dreamt To Be a Woman
By Joshua A. Apolonio
I am a boy. Yes I am.
But I don’t know who I truly am.
Being a lady or a woman perhaps,
Even in my dreams, I can be what I am.
When I dream about this, I hear silent claps.
I took the choice who truly am I,
And I’m happy with it, in all kinds of maps.
Up above is a pulchritudinous sky.
Yes I am. I am free in the high.
Oh, I’m sorry, was I just dreaming?
Must be, I am. Oh my. Oh my.
When I woke up, I found myself crying.
Tears fell down, I’m here realizing.
Oh my, oh my. This is really I am!
This is the truth; I’m not a woman flying.
