Be Real

Be Real
By Joshua A. Apolonio

Be real, as you may do whatever you want.
You’ll be happier if you don’t just flaunt.
Be you, as you can do everything
As you may see and feel that you are flying.

Be real, you can express your thoughts, ideas;
Without limits, free from any bias.
Be you, as if you are freely to move.
Extend your arms, hug the air, and just groove.

Be real, as you are dancing on the street.
Pretending nobody’s watching on your feet;
Be you, as if you own the whole wide world
And smile to everyone, make your body twirled.

Be real, as you know who you are more.
If it’s yes, say yes. If it’s no, ignore.
Be you, as if no one gives you judgment.
Not following yourself makes you lament.

Be real, as you know you were made to be free
And do all the things which are necessary.
Be you, even if your character is odd.
Just don’t forget, you are a son of God.
